Hi, everyone! I am Pete Kuhn (Mr. Pete to the kids) and I am thrilled to begin my first year at Columbian Elementary teaching 2nd grade. I have been a classroom teacher for over 12 years and love facilitating kids’ learning, growing a classroom community, and helping young people reach their full potential. I grew up in Florida, graduated from The University of Florida, and have now been in Colorado for over 20 years now and love everything that our beautiful state has to offer. I have a wonderful wife, an amazing daughter in college at Cal Poly, and 2 cats who run the house. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy playing pickleball, attending rock concerts, cooking, playing drums, and exploring our country. I promise to do my best to help your child succeed and accomplish great things now and in the future.
