Hello! My name is Ms. Philips, and I am a 2nd grade teacher here at Columbian Elementary! This is my second year working in DPS, before I spent several years teaching in Chicago Public Schools. I have a Bachelors in Art Conservation (I love art AND science) from Columbia College and a Masters in Education from National Louis University. I am loving life in Colorado, taking advantage of nicer year round weather! I love hiking (especially with my dog, Otis!), and finding new restaurants to try. I can’t wait to continue to grow as a community here at Columbian!
